On January 5, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure for one of the founders of Kievguma. Anton Kravets was sent to a pre-trial detention center for 60 days, no bail was provided. Babel and RBC reported this with reference to sources in law enforcement agencies.
Investigators have established that during 2022-2023, the Kievguma company transported batches of tactical tourniquets and bandages of its own production to Russia for a total amount of more than UAH 40 million. The Russians sent the goods of this company to military hospitals located in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
During the searches, the SBU received new official documents and correspondence confirming the illegal activities of the defendants, the intelligence service noted.
Let us remind you that on January 4, the Security Service of Ukraine exposed the Ukrainian company Kievguma for supplying tactical medicine to Russia. This company sold its products to one of the European Union countries, and then these tourniquets and bandages were transported to the Russian Federation and handed over to the Russian army.
