The Ukrainian Armed Forces hit the new Russian artillery reconnaissance complex 1K148 Yastreb-AV.

    .

The enemy system was discovered in the Kherson region, and they worked on it using the M142 HIMARS multiple rocket launcher. The Hawk was destroyed by two GMLRS missiles. The fire on the complex was adjusted with the help of a reconnaissance drone, which monitored the invaders. Militarny reported this on January 2.

It is noted that only recently the Russian command received the 1K148 Yastreb-AV artillery reconnaissance complex. This radar is capable of automatically tracking the trajectory of shells fired by enemy artillery, determining the exact coordinates of positions. The complex is placed on a four-axle BAZ truck chassis. The cost of such a machine is 250 million dollars.

In August 2023, the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops reported that the military had destroyed the Russian radar station of the Yastreb-AV complex. But there was no video evidence then.

Let us remind you that soldiers of the 14th separate regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already incinerated five Russian Buk-M1-2 anti-aircraft missile systems over the past two weeks. Another of these air defense systems was destroyed near occupied Donetsk.
