The number of victims of the morning shelling of Ukraine has reached five people, 119 others were injured.

In Ukraine, the number of victims and injured as a result of a massive Russian attack has increased. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Tuesday, January 2.

According to rescuers, at 17:00, five people died and 119 others were injured as a result of the attack in Ukraine.

Units of the State Emergency Service are extinguishing the fire at two addresses in Kyiv’s Podolsk district. Also in Kharkov, work continues to dismantle the emergency structures of a residential building.

According to the department, more than 500 rescuers and 111 pieces of equipment have been deployed at the shooting sites.

It was previously reported that four people died as a result of Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

We remind you that on the night and morning of January 2, the Russian army launched missiles into Ukraine. Kyiv and Kharkov came under widespread attack, and explosions were heard in other regions.

The Russians fired 99 missiles of various types and 35 kamikaze drones into Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to destroy 72 missiles and all drones.
