On January 1, the Russians will launch 90 Shahed-136/131 attack drones in four directions – Cape Chauda, Balaklava in the occupied Crimea, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarskoye in the Russian Federation. The enemy also attacked with four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Kharkov region, three Kh-31P anti-radar missiles and one Kh-59 from the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
In most regions of Ukraine, an air raid warning was announced along the drone route. Air defense forces worked in almost all areas. The air attack was repelled by mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, fighter aircraft and anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force.
The defenders of the Ukrainian sky managed to destroy a record number of enemy attack UAVs – 87 out of 90 “Shaheds”
Let us remind you that on the night of January 1, the Russian army attacked Odessa with attack drones. Fires broke out in residential buildings as a result of drone debris. One person died and nine were injured.
And in the Lviv region, due to the fall of drone debris, the museum of UPA general-horuner Roman Shukhevych in Belogorsch and the roof of the university building in Dublyany, where Stepan Bandera studied 100 years ago, burned down.
