In Donetsk, shelling and deaths were reported

On the night of Monday, January 1, during occupied Donetsk, local residents heard explosions. Occupation authorities announced alleged shelling from Ukraine, Russian propaganda sources reported.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a massive attack on Donetsk on New Year’s Eve, and there were casualties in the city center,” the representatives of the operational services reported.

It was also reported that the Donbass Pelas hotel was damaged due to the shooting.

Later, Pushilin said four people were said to have died and 13 were injured.

Subsequently, Russian propagandists said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly fired eight more missiles using MLRS at Donetsk.

We remind you that on New Year’s Eve the Russians carried out a drone strike in Odessa. Fire broke out in residential buildings in different parts of the city. So far, one death is known.
