Since the start of the all-out invasion, Russia has fired thousands of missiles of all types into Ukraine. An Air Force spokesman said it was impossible to shoot down all of the enemy’s missiles.
Since the start of the massive invasion, the Russian army has launched more than 7,500 missiles into Ukraine. The Spokesman of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Yuri Ignat announced this in a telethon on Sunday, December 31, writes Radio Liberty.
“We have a massive attack of all types of missiles across Ukraine, more than 7,500. These are all types – aircraft missiles, S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles – the number of launches,” Ignat said.
The spokesman said it was impossible to shoot down all the enemy’s missiles.
“We started shooting the Patriot only in May, and then in that area, where it was. We must understand that we only fired cruise missiles or X-59s,” he clarified.
Let’s remember that on December 29, the Russian army launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Air defense forces destroyed 27 Shaheds and 87 cruise missiles. As a result of enemy strikes, civilians were killed in Kyiv, Lvov, Dnieper, Odessa, Kharkov and Zaporozhye. January 1 was declared a day of mourning in Kyiv for those killed as a result of the Russian Federation’s massive missile attack.
