The Kiev region police yesterday, December 29, at about 23:00, received a report of an explosion in one of the apartment buildings in the city of Obukhov.

Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene of the incident found that a 15-year-old teenager, during a conflict between acquaintances in the entrance of a residential building, took an explosive device out of his pocket and threw it, after which he disappeared. This was reported by the press service of the police in the Kyiv region.
During a special operation, the police found the teenager. He was detained and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
As a result of the explosion, the 16-year-old participant in the conflict and the detonator were injured, and the entrance to the house was damaged, the report states. — Explosive specialists worked at the scene and seized the remains of the grenade body.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into hooliganism with the use of an object specially adapted or prepared in advance to cause bodily harm (Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code).
