Many citizens are denied leaving Ukraine, even if they have documents that give them the right to cross the border. Allegedly, border guards do not even let out disabled people of the third group and accompanying disabled people. Users of social networks write about this.
Ukrainians on social networks complain about long queues at checkpoints. It is noted that a man with a third group disability is turned away at the exit and the accompanying disabled people are turned back.
In specialized Facebook groups it is indicated that control over the documents of those traveling through the “Put” volunteer system has been tightened at the border. It is noted that suddenly those who previously calmly crossed the border became restricted from traveling.
From 20:00 all men (those with large families, volunteers, disabled people) are required to have a certificate from the military registration and enlistment office. There are men on approximately every bus or car, that’s why there are queues,” one user points out.
Others write that this is observed at all checkpoints. At some of them, according to users, there are representatives of territorial recruitment and social support centers.
The authorities and the State Border Service have not yet commented on this information.
This morning, the patrol police of the Lviv region reported that traffic was temporarily blocked in the village of Shegini on the border. The passage was subsequently resumed.
Let us remind you that in bill No. 10378, submitted recently to the Verkhovna Rada, the 3rd disability group was removed from the clause on deferment from military service. That is, if accepted, such people in some cases may be mobilized.
