On the night of December 30, the Russians attacked with drones and launched artillery attacks. The attack was mainly concentrated on the front-line territory – the Kherson region, and was inevitably hit. This was stated by the head of the joint coordination press center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine Natalya Gumenyuk at the telethon.

“The enemy rained traveling bullets. But the hits took place mainly in populated areas where almost everything was destroyed. The enemy just continued to panic. There was also a hit in Kherson itself – it was the administrative building of one of the business and several vehicles. But, fortunately, There is no information about any casualties, “said Gumenyuk.

According to reports, around 04:30 the Russians shelled the region with artillery. The consequences of the strikes are being clarified. Ukrainian fighters shot down a Shahed UAV in the Nikolaev region and two units in the Kherson region. The attack lasted about four hours.

As Gumenyuk mentioned, the duration of the attack is explained by the fact that the Russians tried to bypass the defense and air defense systems.

We remind you that, according to the General Staff, Russia attacked Ukraine on the night of December 30 with the help of ten attack drones, and the air defense shot down half of them.
