The United States of America is ready to help Poland investigate the incident involving a Russian missile that violated Polish airspace. US Presidential National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said this on Friday, December 29, in a conversation with his Polish colleague Jacek Sievera, reports the White House press service.
“Sullivan expressed the solidarity of the United States with Poland, our close NATO ally, as it deals with reports of a missile entering Polish airspace,” the statement said.
Sullivan also promised to provide technical assistance if needed and assured his Polish counterpart that US President Joe Biden is closely monitoring the issue.
Warsaw said it would “get tougher on more provocations that violate its airspace.”
