In Poland, the air defense forces were put on high alert. This was announced by the spokesman of the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces, Jacek Goryszewski, Polsat News wrote on Friday, December 29.
This happened after an “unknown object” flew over the country’s territory from the direction of Ukraine this morning.
“To ensure the safety of our airspace, the combat readiness of our air defense systems, including pairs of fighters on duty, has been increased,” Goryshevsky said.
According to him, the search for the object continues. Work also continues to establish the causes of airspace violations and determine the object’s flight path.
“It is known by now that the Polish airspace was violated in the morning hours. The operational command followed all the procedures, and all the people who should be informed are aware of this incident,” the spokesman added.
