The Anka III drone is designed to destroy ground targets, including suppressing air defense systems.
The Turkish jet-powered attack drone Anka III has made its first flight. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced this on Thursday, December 28, on the social network H.
“Our Anka III unmanned military aircraft, developed by TAI, successfully completed its first flight today,” Erdogan said in a statement.
Erdogan also expressed hope that Turkish aircraft will make a significant contribution to Turkey’s defense with their advanced technology, design and performance.

Let’s recall that in June, Turkey presented at the Paris Airshow a new cargo UAV, created for the needs of law enforcement agencies.
It was previously reported that Turkey has developed a UAV with a “variable appearance.” The UAV is equipped with four cameras and can rise to a height of up to 200 meters in a short time.
