In Yakutia, a passenger plane with three dozen passengers landed on the frozen Kolyma River. The pilots just left the runway at Zyryanka airport, Russian media reported.
It was noted that the An-24 of Polar Airlines, with 30 passengers on board, was flying on the Yakutsk – Zyryanka – Srednekolymsk route. When landing in the village of Zyryanka, the pilots missed the runway and landed on a frozen river.
In total, there were 34 people on the plane – 30 passengers and 4 crew members. No one was killed.
