Ukrainians in various countries around the world are receiving messages with provocative content on their phones.
Russian special services are implementing a new information attack against Ukrainians abroad. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram on Wednesday, December 27.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, Ukrainians in various countries of the world are receiving messages of provocative content calling on them to help Russia “drive out American Satanists from the original land of Russia.”
“The messages are created in the style of Lubyanka linguists: next to the cliché about the need to be together” revive Kievan Rus despite the enemies” there are phrases like “take care of yourself and your loved ones life”, “let’s save people’s lives” – Kremlin propaganda and threats in one sentence,” – intelligence said.
At the end of the messages sent there was a facsimile of Moscow’s special services: “From Russia with love.”
The Main Intelligence Directorate states that the latest information attack of the Russian Federation against Ukrainians abroad is aimed at intimidation, demoralization and disorganization of our citizens.
“At the same time, the use of such methods indicates a genre crisis among security officials, to whom the Kremlin has entrusted the task of providing information and psychological influence on Ukrainians,” the intelligence service added.
It was previously reported that Russian special services were creating fake Telegram channels of Ukrainian brigades and battalions to collect information and discredit the Ukrainian military. In addition, the Russians are spreading fake news about the “mobilization of orphans” in Ukraine.
