In the past 24 hours, Defense Forces aviation has carried out strikes on 17 areas where Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment are concentrated and on five anti-aircraft missile systems. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on the morning of December 27.
The missile force units hit three areas where personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated, a control post, two artillery systems and three other important enemy targets.
The air defense destroyed two X-59 guided aircraft missiles and an enemy reconnaissance UAV. Also, the tactical flight of our Air Force successfully attacked the large landing ship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Novocherkassk.
According to the General Staff, 80 military clashes took place in the past 24 hours. In total, the enemy launched 8 missiles and 60 air strikes, carried out 69 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attack, unfortunately, there were deaths and injuries among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
Air strikes were received by: Gremyach, Chernihiv region; Varvarovka, Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Kupyansk, Sobolevka, Kharkov region; Serebryansky forestry, Belogorivka, Lugansk region; Dibrova, Novobakhmutovka, Alexandropol, Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region; Zmievka, Krynki, Kherson region.
About 100 settlements of Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye Kherson and Nikolaev regions came under artillery fire.
In the area of responsibility of OSGV North in the directions of Volyn and Polesie, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the direction of Liman, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in Serebryansky forestry areas of Luhansk region and Vesely, Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 8 enemy attacks near the settlements of Bogdanovka, Klishchievka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region.
In the area of responsibility of OSGV Tavria in the direction of Avdeevka, the Ukrainian defenders continued to hold back the enemy, not abandoning attempts to surround Avdeevka. The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold the defense, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. Thus, in the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka and 16 attacks near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky, Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, our soldiers continued to suppress the invaders in the Novomikhailovka and Pobeda areas of the Donetsk region, where 7 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsky direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the Defense Forces repelled 9 enemy attacks in the Rabotino area and west of Verbovoy, Zaporozhye region.
In the area of responsibility of the OSGV Odessa in the direction of Kherson, Ukrainian defenders are continuing measures to expand the bridge. Despite heavy losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from their positions. So, in the past 24 hours, the enemy has conducted 14 unsuccessful attack operations, received a well-deserved rebuff and retreated.
We remind you that the other day there were 59 military clashes at the front.
