The prosecution did not prove my guilt; there was no intent to murder in my actions. And it couldn’t be, because I defended my life during the third contracted attack in 2018 in Odessa,” he wrote on Twitter and Telegram.
MY SELF DEFENSE CASE IS CLOSED!
I myself can’t believe it, but the corresponding decision was made by the Primorsky District Court of Odessa.

Sternenko has been tried since 2020 on charges of premeditated murder and illegal carrying of bladed weapons. The case concerned the attack of Alexander Isaikul and Ivan Kuznetsov on Sternenko. Kuznetsov died from a knife wound in the scuffle, and Sternenko received several cuts. He claims that this was a targeted attack because of his protests against the development of Odessa. He accuses Mayor Gennady Trukhanov of organizing the attack.
