The new sanctions are reportedly in line with those already announced by the European Union, the United States and other countries, which, based on an analysis of the remains of Russian weapons and equipment from the battlefield in Ukraine, have compile a “high priority list” of electronic and mechanical parts and equipment that are used for commercial purposes and may be used for weapons production, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economy added.
We remind you that South Korea has introduced new restrictions for Russia and Belarus. The new resolution will increase the total number of items on the list prohibited for export to the Russian Federation and Belarus from the current 798 to 1,159.
It was previously reported that Switzerland has expanded sanctions against the Russian Federation. The Federal Department of Economics, Education and Research (EAER) added 61 more individuals and 86 legal entities to the sanctions lists.
