A grenade explosion occurred in an apartment in a multi-storey building in Kremenchug, Poltava region, on Saturday, December 23. One of the local residents was hospitalized. This was reported by the National Police in the Poltava region on Sunday, December 24.
“A report about the explosion was received by the Kremenchug district police department from local residents. A resident of the apartment, born in 1968, was hospitalized for examination from the scene of the incident. During the initial investigative action, it was established that the bullets exploded in the area,” the press service wrote.
There was another resident in the apartment at the time of the explosion, but he was not injured.
The head of the Kremenchug district police department, Alexander Kholondovich, noted that according to one version, the bullets could explode due to careless handling.
As we have already written, on December 15 in Transcarpathia, in the building of the Keretskovsky village council, a deputy exploded three grenades during a session meeting. About 23 people were injured in the explosions, including the suspect. The victims sustained injuries of varying severity.
