During assaults in the Avdeevsky direction, Russian troops resort to non-standard techniques.

The enemy does not stop attacking, despite the fact that there has been heavy rain. At the same time, the enemy uses rather unconventional techniques – recently the Russians attacked with infantry on a BMP-3, as it first seemed, but then it turned out that mannequins were sitting on the armor. The head of the public relations service of the 47th OMBR, Dmitry Lazutkin, stated this during the telethon.
According to him, the invaders thus tried to divert Ukrainian firepower, while the enemy infantry unit itself tried to enter from the other flank. However, it was discovered and destroyed in time.
Lazutkin added that now the confrontation is taking place in difficult conditions, because the units of the Defense Forces are also exhausted, primarily psychologically, and now the military has begun to get sick more because of the weather.
He also denied information from Russian Telegram channels that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost Stepnoye. The Avdeevka coke plant also continues to be controlled by the Ukrainian army, and at the fence “the life of the Russian occupiers ends.”
Let us remind you that on December 20, the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that the Russian army had become somewhat more active in the Avdiivka direction. The enemy uses infantry, armored vehicles and aircraft during assaults. The command believes that the invaders are trying to capture at least some piece of the settlement, “because it is easier to winter in basements than in the field.”
