By an order of the president, Maxim Sandyga was removed from the position of commissioner of AMCU, and by another, he was appointed to the post of deputy chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine – state commissioner.
President Volodymyr Zelensky fired the recently appointed state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Maxim Sandyga and immediately appointed him to a dual position – deputy chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine – state commissioner. This is stated in the presidential decrees signed today, December 22.
“To remove Maxim Viktorovich Sandyga from the position of state commissioner of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine,” said decree No. 833/2023.
A few hours later, a new document appeared on the president’s website.
“To appoint Maxim Viktorovich Sandyga as deputy chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine – state commissioner,” said decree No. 841/2023.
Let’s recall that at the beginning of September the Verkhovna Rada appointed the former head of Donetsk OIA Pavel Kirilenko to the post of head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. Kirilenko’s candidacy was supported by 250 people’s representatives out of 333 present in the hall.
Before this, the Verkhovna Rada fired the former head of the AMCU, Olga Peschanskaya.
