The funds will be used to purchase equipment for Kharkov city clinic No. 10, the hospital of the Main Directorate of National Internal Affairs of Ukraine, as well as Chuguev and Balakleya hospitals.
The Czech Republic has allocated $10 million to strengthen the medical sector in the Kharkov region. The head of Kharkov OVA Oleg Sinegubov announced this on December 21.
The funds will be used to purchase equipment in several health care institutions in the region – Kharkov city clinic No. 10, the hospital of the State Budgetary Institution of Emergency Medicine of Ukraine, as well as hospitals in Chuguev and Balakleya.
They will also supply seven modular boiler houses that will heat residential buildings and critical infrastructure in the region’s communities, the official said.
According to Sinegubov, the support project is designed for three years.
He thanked the Czech government for assistance to Ukraine and significant support for the Kharkov region.
It was previously reported that the Czech Republic extended temporary protection for refugees from Ukraine.
Let’s remember that since the beginning of the war, the Czech Republic has provided Ukraine with military aid worth 241 million euros.
