In the third quarter of this year, the average salary in the country is about 18 thousand Hryvnia.
The average monthly salary in Ukraine in the third quarter increased by 22.7% compared to the same period last year and reached UAH 17,937. The State Statistics Service reported this on Thursday, December 21.
It is noted that this figure is the highest in the sectors of the economy in the field of information and telecommunications – UAH 37,542 (+20.3% compared to the third quarter of 2022), in the financial and insurance sector – UAH 34,189 (+29.8%) and in air transport – UAH 33,205 (+21.9%).
The lowest level of average wages was recorded in the field of libraries, archives and museums – 11,373 UAH (+9.9%), in the field of creativity, art and entertainment – 11,503 UAH (+7.4%) and in education – 12,180 UAH ( +8.2%).
We remind you that in the second quarter of 2023, the average salary in Ukraine will increase by 25%.
