He emphasized that it is necessary to help Ukraine “so that Russia does not win.”
“We must continue to support Ukraine because it will allow us to live in peace. We are not at war with Russia. But we must not allow Russia to win,” he said.
According to the French leader, “in the coming months, France will have to make important decisions” on aid to Ukraine.
“We see that in Europe they are beginning to doubt the amount of aid to Ukraine. It is felt that they are also doubting the United States. We must continue to support and strengthen the security of Kyiv in the most important areas,” the French noted leader
In the past, Macron has said that he is considering the possibility of negotiations with Putin if he is ready to establish peace in Ukraine.
