The flame of peace and goodness from Bethlehem is passed on annually by scouts around the world as reminders of good deeds and support for those who cannot celebrate Christmas at home, the message says.
It is noted that the Flame of Bethlehem was presented to the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Nikolai Balan.
Balan thanked the plastuns on behalf of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, and noted that the Fire from Bethlehem will be spread throughout the units of the Armed Forces.
“Thank you for your patriotism, that you inspire your peers,” Balan emphasized. — The national scout organization “Plast” demonstrates an example of loyalty, patriotic education and love for Ukraine.
