From the very morning, searches began as part of criminal proceedings at some officials of the Uzhgorod City Council. Journalist Vitaly Glagola reported this on December 20 on Telegram, citing sources.
It is noted that at about 7.00 am, law enforcement officers began investigative actions in the Department of City Infrastructure, the KSHEP utility company and in the department responsible for capital construction.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have not yet commented on the information about the conduct of investigative actions in Uzhgorod.
Let us remind you that on November 30, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches in the Pochaev Lavra of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate. They decided to carry out investigative actions after representatives of the Lavra published a publication on the monastery’s website in which they “insulted the national honor and dignity of the Jews, and also incited religious hatred against representatives of all churches except the UOC.”
