Every day, about 6,000 men of military age leave Ukraine along the entire western border. These data were announced by the head of the border control department of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Colonel Igor Matviychuk, at a briefing on Wednesday, December 20.
According to him, most of those who leave are freight drivers (45%), including people with disabilities (15%), as well as people with disabilities and men with many children (5-6%). Through the system Method 150-200 men come out as volunteers every day.
“The law does not detail the control systems and the possibility of monitoring a person with a disabled person. care, which is given to a person; he is not protected, he can be fake. So many people can travel with a person with a disability, but it is impossible to check whether the previous ones have returned, “said Matviychuk and added that it is necessary to improve the system.
In addition, a significant proportion of men traveling abroad have certificates of ineligibility for military service (7-8%).
He also gave an example of a case witnessed by border guards – gender change according to documents.
“A man of military age changed his documents at the registry office: he was Anton, she became Tonya. But in fact, he did not change his gender, “said Matviychuk.
As you know, since February 24, 2022, after the Russian attack, martial law and mobilization was declared in Ukraine. The day before, President Vladimir Zelensky said that the military is asking to mobilize up to 500 thousand more people.
