About 62 thousand Russian military personnel are already in the direction of Bakhmut. Their number is not decreasing. This was said by the head of the public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladimir Fityo, on the air of the United News telethon.
According to him, the Russians are trying to advance towards Chasovoy Yar. At the same time, the Ukrainian military is on active defense – in the past 24 hours, six enemy attacks have been repelled there.

“The enemy is trying to put pressure in the direction of Bakhmut. We see the presence of units of Russian paratroopers, marine units, assault units Z and V, formed from former prisoners,” summary of Fityo.
As we wrote earlier, the Ukrainian military repelled 42 enemy attacks in the direction of Avdiivka over the past 24 hours. They also continue offensive operations south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
