New combat units of the Russian fleet have recently been spotted in the port of this Russian city. Among them are carriers of Caliber cruise missiles, which the aggressor has been regularly firing at Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The Crimean Wind monitoring group reported this on Telegram after analyzing satellite images from OSINT researcher MT Anderson on December 17.
It turned out that two frigates of the Admiral Grigorievich type, three small missile boats of Project 21631 Buyan-M, four submarines of Project 636.3 Varshavyanka and one of the three small missile ships 22800 Karakurt are now “hiding” in Novorossiysk.
Also spotted in the port were three Project 22160 patrol ships of the Vasily Bykov type (one of which has the Tor anti-aircraft missile system on board), three large landing ships of Project 775, a large landing ship of Project Ivan Gren and three minesweepers of Project 266M “Aquamarine”.
Let us remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated the day before that the Russian fleet in the Black and Azov Seas was active last winter. And now the enemy is waiting for the frosts in Ukraine to worsen and stockpiling missiles. The enemy can launch a missile strike even from the distance where the Ukrainian Armed Forces have pushed him back, because Caliber cruise missiles can fly to a distance of 2.5 thousand km.
