There were 53 citizens of Ukraine on the bus, which today, December 17, had an accident on the territory of Slovakia, eight of them were injured as a result of the accident. This was reported by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko in a commentary to RBC-Ukraine.

“8 Ukrainians received moderate injuries. Now they are receiving the necessary medical care, there is no threat to their lives. The remaining passengers were taken to the city of Kosice, where they are waiting for a spare bus. According to the embassy, this is on its way,” said Nikolenko.
It is reported that Ukrainian diplomats are monitoring the situation, in particular, they will ensure that the remaining passengers will reach Kyiv on a new bus provided by the carrier.
We remind you that on October 3 in Venice, a passenger bus fell from an overpass onto the railway. As a result of the accident, 21 people died, 18 were injured, including nine Ukrainians.
