The driver’s death was also reported by “Public” with reference to the vice-president of the Association of International Road Carriers Vladimir Balin.
The driver was taken by ambulance and died on the way to the hospital. “I don’t know yet which company he’s from,” Balin noted.
Earlier, two Ukrainian drivers had already died in line at the border that arose due to the blockade of Polish carriers:
- On November 11, a 54-year-old truck driver from Ukraine died in a parking lot near the Dorogusk-Yagodin checkpoint;
- On the night of November 23, a 56-year-old Ukrainian driver died in a parking lot near Korcheva while waiting to cross the border.
