The enemy fired at the regional center four times with heavy artillery, about one and a half dozen shells were fired. As a result of the explosions, a grandmother and granddaughter were injured. An 83-year-old woman had to be hospitalized with a mine explosion injury and a facial injury. A 16-year-old girl will be treated at home. The head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional military administration, Sergei Lysak, reported this on Telegram.
In Nikopol itself, Russian shells damaged a store, 14 private houses, and 10 outbuildings. Three garages, seven greenhouses, a car, several power lines and a gas pipeline were also damaged.
In other areas of the region, despite air raids, there was no shelling.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported on Telegram that the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office has begun a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings for violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Law enforcement officials have documented another Russian war crime.
Let us remind you that on December 10, the Russians first sent several drones to Nikopol, and then fired at the regional center with heavy artillery. An infrastructure facility, a warehouse building and a five-story residential building were damaged.
