The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this today, December 15.
The following were found and confiscated from the defendants:
- trike;
- eight unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Airplane” and “Quadrocopter” types;
- thermal imagers;
- binoculars;
- radio stations and GPS trackers;
- camera traps;
- more than 2 thousand packs of counterfeit tobacco products,
- gadgets and black notes.
At one of the addresses, a workshop with a full cycle of production of unmanned aerial vehicles was exposed, in particular a line of 3D printers that printed components for drones, the report says.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
The seized UAVs are planned to be transferred to units of the State Border Guard Service performing tasks as part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. They are also studying the possibility of using the skills of persons involved in illegal activities in countering enemy troops, the Ministry of Internal Affairs notes.
