The Russian Ministry of Defense says the drones were intercepted over the Kaluga and Moscow regions.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that at night in the Naro-Fominsk urban district they allegedly repelled an attack by two drones flying to the Muscovite capital. According to him, there was no destruction or casualties at the site where the drone debris fell.
The governor of the Kaluga region, Vladislav Shapsha, reported that air defense systems shot down one drone in the Sukhinichesky district. According to the official, there were no casualties or destruction of infrastructure.
According to the Baza telegram channel, the likely targets of the drones were military units in Alabino and Podolsk near Moscow, as well as the Volodarsk oil depot in the Ramensky district.
