Judge Alexei Tandir, who shot a National Guardsman to death, receives a salary at the Makarovsky District Court of the Kyiv Region, even though he has been in a pre-trial detention center for six months. Babel reports this with reference to the Department of State Judicial Administration in the Kyiv region.
It is noted that since the accident at the checkpoint in Kyiv, the judge received an official salary of 63 thousand Hryvnia.
Tandyr stopped being paid bonuses for length of service and for his scientific degree on June 2. Also, he is not being paid an allowance for administrative work, as Tandir resigned as chairman of the court after his arrest.
Tandoor’s salary with allowances is about 100 thousand Hryvnia. From March to May 2023, Tandoor received compensation in the amount of 305,867 hryvnias.
We remind you that the fatal accident involving the judge occurred around midnight on May 26. Subsequently, it became known that we are talking about the head of the Makarovsky District Court of the Kyiv Region, Alexey Tandyr. He was suspended from work during the investigation.
At the beginning of August, the State Investigation Bureau reported that they had completed the pre-trial investigation of the accident with the participation of Judge Alexey Tandir.
On October 27, Kyiv’s Svyatoshinsky District Court extended for 60 days the arrest of judge Alexey Tandyr, who, while driving drunk, hit and killed national guard Vadim Bondarenko.
