Directly on the front line, the military uses slightly different communications, noted Vladimir Fityo.
The situation with the failure of the mobile operator Kyivstar did not affect the actions of military personnel on the front line. This was announced by the head of the public relations service of the Ground Forces command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Vladimir Fityo, in a telethon on Tuesday, December 12.
According to him, directly on the front line, the military uses slightly different communications.
“At the moment, there is absolutely no influence of the situation on the actions of military personnel. For ordinary civilians there are some inconveniences, but for military personnel (a failure in the work of the national operator – IF-U) is completely pointless,” said Fityo.
We remind you that on the morning of December 12 Kyivstar reported a massive outage in its network. In some regions, in addition to mobile communications, wired Internet does not work. The company later confirmed the information about the cyber attack.
In turn, the SBU announced the opening of criminal proceedings on the facts of the hacker attack on Kyivstar. One of the versions that investigators are now studying is that the Russian intelligence services may be behind this attack.
