The press service of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Defense of the Central Region reported that Oleg Timchenko is under personal obligation.
For Oleg Timchenko, an officer from the apparatus of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, whose gift led to the death of Zaluzhny’s assistant Gennady Chastyakov, the court nevertheless chose a preventive measure – personal obligation. Writing about it in reference to the press service of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the field of defense of the Central region Ukrainian truth.
It was reported that the appeal hearing took place on December 4.
“Based on the results of the consideration, a preventive measure in the form of a personal obligation was chosen for the defendant,” the publication said.
Let’s recall that on November 7, Major Gennady Chastyakov, assistant to the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, died. Law enforcement officials said a grenade exploded – one of the gifts the mayor brought home.
According to the media, the grenades were given to Chastyakov by his colleague. He warned the deceased that they were fighting, but he could turn this warning into a joke. Today the officer was informed of the suspicion.
The SBI considers four versions of the death of Major Chastyakov.
On November 9, the court did not choose a preventive measure for the suspect.
