The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov published declarations on income and property status in 2021 and 2022, according to which his income last year amounted to 4 million 560 thousand 529 UAH, and a year earlier – almost 3.5 million UAH. It was reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
It was noted that in 2021, Umerov’s salary was UAH 491,714, income from the alienation of securities and corporate rights was UAH 2,991,000, and his wife declared UAH 3,284,948 in income.
Umerov also declared $18.2 thousand of unaccented creditor claims, 131 thousand UAH and $7.3 thousand in cash, 784 thousand UAH and $1.8 thousand in bank accounts, and his wife – $15.6 thousand in cash and $13 thousand in bank accounts.
In 2022, his salary was UAH 433,453, income from the alienation of securities and corporate rights was UAH 4,125,800 and bank payments were UAH 1,276, and his wife declared income of UAH 1,704,568.
In addition, Umerov declared $18.2 thousand unaccented creditor claims, 218.6 thousand UAH and $5.8 thousand in cash, 1.2 million UAH and $1.8 thousand in bank accounts, and his wife – $3.9 thousand in cash and $5.4 thousand in bank accounts .
According to the declaration, the minister rents an apartment in Kiev (80.6 sq. m), is registered in an apartment in Kiev (95 sq. m), his mother owns a house in Bakhchisarai, Crimea (196.7 sq. m), and his wife rents an apartment in the USA (137.4 sq. m.).
Umerov also drives a 2014 Hyundai Elantra and a 2016 Ford Explorer.
The Minister of Defense is the owner, specifically, 100% of the LLC Black Sea Company (corporate rights are transferred to management). He has the right to acquire in the future corporate rights to the authorized capital of Petcube, Inc., according to an agreement between the investor and the company (value UAH 27.1 million), the right to claim under the agreement for sale and purchase of a share in the share capital of the LLC Black Sea Company (cost UAH 44.2 million) and the right to claim under the agreement for the sale and purchase of a share in the share capital of a private limited liability company Astem Technologies (cost 26.7 million UAH).
