The Russian military continues to be at Mozyr airport. This is confirmed both by satellite image data and regular military movements in Mozyr and its surroundings.
For the rotation of Russian personnel located at the Mozyr airfield in Belarus, an An-12 aircraft transported a group of Russian military personnel. This was reported by the Belarusian Gayun monitoring group.
“On December 9 at 17:34, an An-12 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces flew from Seshcha airfield (Bryansk region, Russian Federation) to Gomel airport. Before that, the An-12 flew to Gomel in October 13 ,” the message said.
It was also noticed that later, around 19:00, on the M10 Gomel – Rechitsa highway, a convoy of the Russian Armed Forces was moving, consisting of a PAZ bus and two Ural vehicles covered by an awning. All equipment does not have registration plates.
According to Gayun, the An-12 military transport aircraft can carry up to 90 people on board. The back of a Ural car accommodates about 30 passengers, and a PAZ bus (depending on the model) – 23.
“Accordingly, the convoy seen on the M10 highway could have carried more than 80 passengers. However, it cannot be denied that the personnel were transported only in a bus, and cargo in trucks,” the monitoring group noted.
Gayun did not rule out that the plane could also transport military personnel for the rotation of the contingent at the Zyabrovka airfield.
In addition, the Russian military continues to be at Mozyr airport. This is confirmed both by satellite image data and regular military movements in Mozyr and its surroundings.
We remind you that Belarus has once again extended its joint military exercises with the Russian Armed Forces. They last until December 3rd. Belarus and the Russian Federation have been conducting exercises continuously since April 29, 2022. A total of 83 weeks.
It was previously reported that the Russians maintain a small contingent of several hundred personnel in Belarus.
