During the day, 82 military clashes took place on the front, including the direction of Avdiivka, the defenders of Ukraine rejected 39 enemy attacks. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in a report on the evening of Sunday, December 10.
Russian troops carried out two missile and 33 air strikes, and carried out 29 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.
The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult. During the day, 82 military clashes took place.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the Sinkovka and Petropavlovka areas of the Kharkov region. In the direction of Liman, the Defense Forces repelled five Russian attacks in the areas of Ternov, Vesely, Donetsk region and Makeevka, Lugansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks in the Grigorovka, Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Klishchievka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region. In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 39 attacks by the invaders in the areas east of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoe, Avdeevka, south of Severnoe and Tonenkoe, Pervomaisky of the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinsky direction, the Defense Forces continued to contain the enemy in the areas of Marinka and Novomikhailovka of the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out 14 unsuccessful attacks on position of Ukrainian defenders.
Under the direction of Shakhtarsky, the Defense Forces repelled all Russian attacks that attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units from their occupied lines in the area southeast of Ugledar, Donetsk region. In the direction of Zaporozhye, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks in the Robotinoy area of the Zaporozhye region.
The defense forces subsequently hold positions on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region and continue to inflict heavy losses on the enemy.
Units of the missile forces inflicted defeat on three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and ammunition of the Russian invaders.
We remind you that in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military destroyed 700 Russian invaders and dozens of enemy equipment units. Since the beginning of the war, Russia has lost approximately 338,820 military personnel killed.
