The head of European diplomacy, against the backdrop of Russia’s biggest attack in the last two months, called on the EU to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At the next EU Council meeting, EU foreign ministers will discuss strengthening Ukraine’s military potential. About this on your social network account X (Twitter) reported Head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell on Saturday, December 9.
According to him, on December 8, the Russians carried out the largest missile attack on Ukraine in the last 2 months, so he called for the strengthening of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including air defense systems.
“At the next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union, we will discuss the EU’s security commitments, as well as proposals to increase our contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s military potential,” Borrell concluded.
Let’s remember that Josep Borrell previously reported that the European Union did not abandon the goal of providing Ukraine with 1 million artillery ammunition by March 2024.
Bloomberg previously reported that the EU is behind on its plan to supply Ukraine with one million artillery shells by March 2024. So far only 30% have been completed.
