The German government on Friday, December 8, announced the provision of another package of military assistance to the Ukrainian army. The defense forces will receive not only ammunition, but also drones, vehicles and weapons. This was reported by the German Embassy in Kyiv.
Berlin transferred to Kyiv 250 artillery ammunition of 155 mm caliber, 70 automatic grenade launchers of 70 mm caliber, 100 thousand first aid kits and medicines. Also included in the new package is the LUNA NG reconnaissance complex, 10 VECTOR reconnaissance drones with spare parts, six border patrol vehicles and eight Zetros trucks.
The department noted that the funds to finance the article on increasing legal capacity for 2023 amount to a total of 5.4 billion euros, plus the authority to assume obligations for the following years in the amount of about 10.5 billion euros. These funds should primarily go to military support for Ukraine.
