The movement of metro trains on the section between the Teremki – Demeevskaya stations was stopped for safety reasons and taking into account the technical condition of the tunnels. Now trains run between the stations “Heroes of the Dnieper” and “Lybidskaya”. Duplicate ground transport routes should be established. This was reported by the Kiev City State Administration.
Train traffic between the Demeevskaya and Teremki metro stations in the capital was closed during the repair of the haulage tunnel. The restrictions will last for six months. It was originally planned that these underground stations would stop operating from tomorrow, December 9th.
Meanwhile, the public initiative “Kyiv Passengers” on Telegram reported that train traffic from the Demeevskaya metro station to Teremki was stopped due to depressurization of the tunnel, which was in emergency condition. In the tunnel, water flowed onto the rails, causing significant flooding. The network has already published relevant videos.
Let us remind you that in Kharkov it was planned to build the first underground school in Ukraine. In this educational institution, children will be able to study even during missile attacks, and the school itself will meet modern regulatory requirements for protective structures.
