Find out which books Ukrainians bought most often in 2023

The most popular books among Ukrainians in the past year are selected in several categories.

Ukrainian Institute of Books found out which books are the best sellers in Ukraine in 2023. The corresponding study was published on Thursday, December 7, on the organization’s website.

It is reported that the experts of the Institute, including Kyiv Book Weekend examined both large retailers (Book24, kniga.biz.ua, Yakaboo, Knigoland, KSD and NF) and non-chain bookstores in the capital Sense, Zakapelok, Readeat And Katebooks (Irpin) about which books Ukrainians bought the most in 2023.

As a result, experts defined several categories, in which they named the most famous authors and their works.

Ukrainian classics: city Valerian Podmogilny; Notes of the snub-nosed Mephistopheles Vladimir Vinnichenko; The story of the sanatorium zone Nikolai Khvylovy (all three are from the series Non-canonical canon publishing houses Vihola); Tigercatchers and the Garden of Gethsemane Ivan Bagryany (publishing house A priori).
