On December 5, Stefan Paul Pinter, shareholder of COMINBANK (London, UK) and Tatyana Putintseva, Chairman of the Board of COMINBANK, officially presented a series of excursions for students to the Museum of the Formation of the Ukrainian Nation of capital.
A series of excursions for children will begin in the capital’s Museum of the Formation of the Ukrainian Nation in December. Thanks to the COMINBANK team’s charitable initiative, students can learn the history of Ukraine for free in a state-of-the-art museum. Students from internally displaced persons (IDPs), children of military personnel, and wards of the ONUKY charitable foundation will have access to the excursions.
“When you are in a museum, with many outstanding heroes and historical figures, it is an incredible feeling. It is a great honor for me to be part of the process when the bank supports Ukraine, supports its defenders and the entire Ukrainian people.
My friends live in different parts of the world. They know that I am a shareholder of a Ukrainian bank. And they were surprised when they heard that the bank is not only working, but doing it well, building, opening new branches, improving services, service for clients, and all this in the middle of a terrible that war. Dear diehard Ukrainians, today I take this opportunity and want to thank you all.!”, comments Stefan Paul Pinter, shareholder of COMINBANKwho came to Kyiv to celebrate the anniversary of the bank with the Ukrainian team.

With this gift, the bank will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its activities in the Ukrainian financial market. COMINBANK is almost the same age as the Independence of Ukraine; it went through all the usual challenges with the state: economic and political crises, the COVID-19 pandemic and a massive Russian invasion.
It is symbolic that the presentation of a series of excursions for students to the Museum of the Building of the Ukrainian Nation by COMINBANK fell precisely on the Day of Volunteers, December 5th. The fact is that the bank continues to support one of the military hospitals, along with the ONUKY Foundation that helps children, the elderly and internally displaced people, and develops a culture of corporate volunteering.
All corporate social responsibility projects are united around the concept of DOBROKOLO, which includes several large areas of helping the country and people. In a comment on the site, Correspondent Tatyana Putintseva, Chairman of the Board of COMINBANK, explained in more detail what DOBROKOLO is.
“In general, this is the concept of social responsibility of the bank, which we demonstrated back at the time of the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Under this name, we have united all the virtues of our bank. DOBROKOLO unites our employees in a charitable resource. If you look at the 30-year history of Cominbank, we started working immediately after Ukraine gained Independence, then the values of charity, philanthropy and social consciousness of citizens began to revive in our country, and we do not want to be on the sidelines of these important processes. Our social initiative DOBROKOLO is a mission and a specific type of service, especially now that we are all striving for success“, said Tatyana Putintseva.
The mission of the DOBROKOLO initiative is: “Good for everyone around you.”
Today COMINBANK, despite the difficult situation in the country, has big plans for 2024. The first of them does not stop, especially with good deeds.
“Despite the difficult situation in our country, despite the war, we still set ourselves a strategy of development, opening new branches, expanding our network. Next year we plan to update our mobile application and release a new mobile card. We do everything to be more competitive in the market and convenient for our customers. In addition, in 2024 we plan to open new branches to add jobs – it is estimated that we plan to increase the staff by 20%. We understand that this means additional revenues in the budget and additional work.“, said Tatyana Putintseva.

The Chairman of the Board of COMINBANK emphasized: the institution’s 30th anniversary is the best proof of its strong roots: no matter what economic or historical storms shake the crown, this tree remains strong despite of any bad weather.
“Our bank has adequately overcome all the challenges of peacetime and now wartime, and has the long-term trust of our clients, which allows us to continue. We see the museum exposition as very symbolic and consistent with our values and significant for enriching children with historical knowledge – so that future generations of Ukrainians have strong roots.“, added Tatyana Putintseva during the presentation of a series of excursions for students.
