Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced at the G7 summit about Tokyo’s readiness to further allocate approximately $4.5 billion to Ukraine.
Japan will allocate approximately $4.5 billion to Ukraine for the country’s post-war reconstruction. Kyodo wrote this with reference to the words of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
“Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, who chairs the G7 this year, announced at the G7 summit that Tokyo is ready to provide an additional $4.5 billion to support efforts to rebuild war-torn Ukraine ,” the report said.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal said that Japan plans to allocate 160 million euros to support projects for the recovery of the Ukrainian economy.
