Ukrainian defenders on Wednesday, December 6, destroyed a Russian helicopter using HIMARS MLRS. The invaders’ helicopter was shot down near Liman in the Donetsk region, reports the StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Reportedly, on Armed Forces Day, Defense Forces UAV pilots organized the HIMARS operation.
“Congratulations on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was ‘received’ by the crew of the Russian transport helicopter in Liman,” the military said.
According to sources of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the helicopter was destroyed.
It was previously reported that the MTR destroyed the Russian command and staff vehicle from HIMARS.
