Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets said that children aged 8 to 18 were returned through the mediation of Qatar.

On Tuesday, December 5, The Washington Post, citing sources, wrote that Russia agreed to return six deported children to Ukraine through the mediation of Qatar.

It was planned that the children would go to Ukraine through Belarus. Most likely, we are talking about these children.

Lubinets thanked the Ukrainian Embassy in Belarus for their assistance in returning the children.

Joint efforts can create a pre-Christmas miracle – four girls and four boys aged 8 to 18 will soon be reunited with their families and will celebrate the holidays in the arms of their loved ones in their homeland, the President’s Office reported.

They noted that the return mediators were Qatar and UNICEF.

We will not stop working until every kidnapped child is returned home,” commented the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Ermak.
