13 out of 13 members of this committee voted for submitting this document to the second reading and adopting it as a whole.
The author of the bill, People’s Deputy Roman Lozinsky, reported on his Facebook page that “after 18 months the matter has moved forward.” Then it will be brought into the session hall for discussion and adoption.
In April 2022, the Rada adopted in the first reading bill No. 6163 on depriving state awards of traitors, collaborators and those who conducted anti-Ukrainian activities.
The movement HONESTLY appealed to the OP regarding the deprivation of state awards from traitors and collaborators. This NGO sent an appeal to the President’s Office to deprive the persons on the Register of Traitors of state awards – Vladimir Saldo, Evgeniy Balitsky, Ilya Kiva and Oleg Tsarev. These individuals received court sentences for crimes against national security.
The President can deprive state awards only if the recipient is convicted of a serious crime in accordance with Art. 16 of the Law “On State Awards of Ukraine”. In accordance with the procedures, the court must send a representation to the President, and the commission of state awards and heraldry must prepare appropriate petitions for deprivation of state awards. The head of the commission of state awards and heraldry is the head of the OP Andrey Ermak.
Heroes of Ukraine. Dmitry “Da Vinci” Kotsyubailo. Denis Redis Prokopenko. Sergei Volynsky, hundreds of others, worthy. At the same time: co-chairman of the OPZZh Boyko, DPR parliamentary candidate Odnoralenko, Crimean traitor United Russia Batalin, Putin’s confidant in the elections Yakubov and others. Warriors awarded Orders for Courage: pilot Andrei Dzhus Pilshchikov, my brothers (posthumously) Artemy Kurka Dimid and Dmitry Garmash Pashchuk. At the same time, Leonid Pasechnik, the head of the puppet “LPR” still formally has, think about it, the medal “For Military Service to Ukraine”.
Nonsense? Nonsense. But partly it’s also sabotage, – this is how People’s Deputy Lozinsky explained the need to adopt the bill.
