Journalist Andrei Tsaplienko published a video of the interrogation of a Nepalese man.
He is 22 years old. He studied at a Russian university. They wanted to expel the young man from Russia and he looked for an opportunity to stay.
A solution was found – military service for 195 thousand rubles a month. Therefore, a citizen of Nepal went to serve in the 70th regiment of the Russian army.
Tsaplienko believes that everything that concerns students is a lie or half-truth.
He doesn’t speak Russian. So we titrated it. He doesn’t speak English well. Therefore, it is unlikely that he could enter a university, even a Russian one. The sale of student visas through universities is a corrupt component of the illegal migration channel in the post-Soviet space. That is, he is probably just an ordinary illegal immigrant. But he claims that there are more than 5 thousand Nepalese like him in the Russian army,” Tsaplienko commented on the video.
He believes that Russia has found another source to replenish its army of slaves.
At the end of the conversation, the Nepalese addressed his parents in Nepali.
