A storm in the Black Sea destroyed the embankment of the Russian invaders that connected the island of Dzharilgach with the occupied mainland of the Kherson region.

During a storm that raged on November 26-27, the sea washed out the spit connecting the island with the mainland in three places. The occupiers set up a military training ground on this island. Thus, the occupiers at least temporarily lost the opportunity to reach the island. The Center for Investigative Journalism reported this.
As you know, located opposite Skadovsk, Dzharilgach is the largest island in Ukraine and the Black Sea. Its entire territory and part of the nearby water area are included in the Dzharilgatsky National Natural Park. Since the first days of the full-scale invasion, the island has been under Russian occupation.
Let us recall that foreign analysts stated that the storm in Crimea demolished the barriers that protected the Kerch Bridge and Sevastopol Bay from attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These occupier barriers were either washed away due to a storm at sea or were removed by the Russians to prevent any harm to them.
